Celebration of Educational Excellence
The Colorado Department of Higher Education and the Colorado Department of Human Services are partnering with organizations and community partners to recognize young people involved in foster care or youth services who have graduated from high school, received a GED, or obtained a college degree this year. The Celebration of Educational Excellence (CEEX) was created 27 years ago in response to the poor educational outcomes of current and former foster youth. The Celebration has grown and expanded throughout its history, has integrated a resource fair, and emphasizes youth voice and input. Graduates in attendance will be recognized, receive graduate gifts, and will have the opportunity to attend the resource fair to connect with organizations and community partners to support future successes
When: Thursday, June 5, 2025
Time: Resource Fair 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Celebration and Dinner 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Where: University of Colorado Denver - Auraria Campus, Tivoli Student Union, Turnhalle

Graduation Application (and release)

7th STREET PARKING GARAGE PERMIT/JUNIPER, OAK, AND MAPLE LOTS:
The North end of 1st floor in 7th Street Garage is reserved for 7th Street permit holders only.
Juniper, Oak, and Maple Lots are reserved for the respective permit holders only.
Coupons are not valid in these permit areas, and citations will be issued to vehicles parked in these spaces.
Please advise guests to observe all parking signage.
